Washable and reusable
All ISKO+Health products are durable, washable, and reusable. Washability is particularly critical to sustainable environmental management in hospitals. ISKO+Health’s reusable gowns can be washed up to 100 times, replacing 100 single-use gowns — gowns that are either incinerated or sent to a landfill. Disposable gowns also use less energy and water and produce less CO2 emissions.
Recycled and recyclable fibres
ISKO+Health products are made from nearly 100% recycled fibres. Our compression wear contains a small percentage of elastane and our surgical gowns contain 1% carbon fibre. With access to state-of-the-art recycling technologies, ISKO+Health can receive used garments, separate fibres, and recycle the materials into raw fibre for reuse. In partnership with our sister company, we are invested in garment circularity.
Certifications
Our many certifications and accreditations ensure the quality standards of our company and our products. In addition to rigorous medical standards, we adhere to several environmental standards as well. These organizations create transparent sustainability guidelines for our company, the medical textiles we produce, and our entire supply chain.
